Raised in Savannah, Georgia, Ellis received his J.D from the University of Kentucky College of Law in Lexington, Kentucky in 2017. Before attending law school, Ellis graduated from St. Andrew’s School in Savannah and then attended the University of South Carolina where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Entertainment Management. While at U.K. Law, Ellis was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and served as president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.

Prior to joining Brennan, Wasden & Painter, LLC, Ellis interned for highly respected legal firms in Atlanta, Savannah and Lexington to include the Chatham County District Attorney’s office. While in Lexington, KY pursuing his J.D., Ellis clerked for a firm specializing in federal criminal defense. He lives in Savannah with his fiancée, Haley.

Ellis practices in the area of general civil litigation, with an emphasis on medical malpractice defense, hospital liability litigation, trucking litigation defense and general tort defense. He routinely helps defend physicians, hospitals, and businesses throughout Georgia.
